The Gauteng Broadband Network (GBN) is the largest broadband network in South Africa, with more than 2,000 sites across Gauteng. It connects schools, hospitals, provincial government offices and community services into a single data and voice network. Exelligent delivered this engagement as a subcontractor to Altron Nexus.

As the chosen managed service provider for a diverse set of technology stacks, Exelligent played a pivotal role in keeping GBN's network infrastructure performing and growing. The network spans core, distribution and access layers, using Fibre, Microwave and LTE, and our managed services support ran 24/7 to meet the demands of the client's operations.
